Manager, Functional Requirements Consolidated Edison Company of York $105,000.00 – $150,000.00 / yr United States, York, York 4 Irving Place (Show on map) Jun 11, 2025 Overview The GIS Manager is responsible for implementing various phases within the enterprise GIS program replacing Orange and Rocklands’ (O&R) current NRG Mapping System. The candidate will manage the system implementation activities such as functional requirements, system testing, configuration, and integration of various downstream applications with enterprise GIS platforms. The candidate shall have knowledge and experience with multiple applications in Electric Operations including NMS, WMS, CYME, ADMS, and Gas Operations applications including GIMS and Locus View. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of GIS principles and applications, strong leadership skills, and experience in project management. Responsibilities Core Responsibilities
Serve as a primary contact for Orange and Rockland (O&R) to enterprise GIS vendors Software Provider, (Schneider Electric), Conversion vendor (RAMTeCH), and System Integrators (TBD) on all items related to Integrations with ArcFM and Designer XI.
Oversee O&R teams responsible for developing functional requirements, configuration specifications, integration requirements, component specifications, and system testing activities for ArcFM and Designer XI.
Document current and new work flow for electric and gas.
Memorialize Company mapping standards for electric and gas. Build requirements for value.
Document requirements to keep developers, designers, and QA testers on the same page.
Coordinate workshops and manage the completion of project tasks and deliverables associated with all functional requirements for both electric and gas.
Responsible for configuration workshops, system testing, and coordinating integration of various existing electric and gas applications.
Participate in project workshops and status calls, lead discussions with vendor teams, provide feedback, and report status to the project managers on planned and ongoing GIS work.
Present to executive leadership on the progress of the GIS project and associated activities and manage direct reports.
Collaborate with IT staff to integrate GIS with other software and systems.
Provide technical leadership and oversight on other specialized GIS initiatives such as integrating various internal software systems into ArcFM, and collaborative GIS pilots with Research and Development.

Perform other responsibilities, as needed. Qualifications Required Education/Experience Master’s Degree and Two years of relevant work experience or
Bachelor’s Degree and Three years of relevant work experience or
Associate’s Degree and Five years of relevant work experience or
High School Diploma/GED and Seven years of relevant work experience
Relevant Work Experience Experience and a proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, required.
Strong leadership skills, required.
Experience in leading and facilitating meetings and workshops, required.
Excellent communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills, required.
In-depth knowledge of Electric and/or Gas mapping and layout design processes; and knowledge of electric and/or Gas distribution systems, preferred.
Prior GIS experience, preferred.
Must be tech-savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, required.
Experience in Project Management such as work planning, status reporting, and issue/risk management, required.
Prior experience with change management efforts or projects, preferred.

Ability to work on elevated platforms, scaffolds, catwalks, roofs, and/or other equipment
Additional Physical Demands
Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our customers.
Must be able and willing to travel within Company service territory, as needed.
