  • Track teams “Key Performance Indicators “(KPI’s) for safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards, with continuous monthly Improvements in all areas
  • Maintain and foster a positive working environment for all Team Members, Customers, and Visitors as a “Team One” environment.
  • Implement effective countermeasures for any safety, quality, performance, or productivity issues.
  • Implement kaizens in assigned area(s) and promote continuous improvement (including new ideas, projects, and practices).
  • Enforce by effective coaching the company’s policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Monitor safety and enforce safety protocol in all areas.
  • Oversee STL and TL performance, including their training of team members.
  • Monitor training schedules/proficiency charts for daily processes and unusual conditions and ensure due dates are met.
  • Ensure TPM/PM (daily checks) on equipment are completed during shift, if required.
  • Approve/deny time off/PTO and follow outlined processes.
  • Administer any corrective actions and coaching of team members if needed.
  • Act as the shift liaison between the company and corresponding department with the client.
  • Report any supplier issues to the company Management and Quality Leadership.
  • Review and disposition of any defects that occur internal or from Customer.
  • Oversee and maintain 5S of assigned area(s).
  • Address team member concerns/Participate in team member investigations.
  • Facilitate process improvement ideas and implementation of ideas.
  • Fulfill other duties as required insuring that the company meets or exceeds our customer expectations and needs.

“`Injection Molding Process Supervisor Responsibilities“` Setup and startup molding machines to produce a quality product that meets all customer and plant production cycle requirements. Manage mold change on target. Report out any KPI such as mold change time, scrap , cycle time and training status. Adjust processing conditions after mold changes, if necessary. Help to properly install, monitor, clean and remove auxiliary equipment to injection molding machines as needed by production scheduling. Diagnose production problems and make proper adjustments. Following up to ensure that desired results are obtained and retained. Produce a high volume of quality injected parts, in a production setting. Make sure all machine work areas are properly maintained according to the specific 5S requirements. Assist other shifts with coverage for vacations and/or absenteeism when needed. Effectively communicate daily machine concerns or issues with the other shifts and required management personnel during shift change. Communicate any repair or malfunction of equipment or tooling to the proper support department. Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting all machine data as required. Provide a Customer Service attitude when interacting with internal and external customers while accomplishing work, production and achieving quality standards. Participate in continuous process improvement efforts to reduce scrap, cycle times, improve efficiency and eliminate waste within the production environment. Manage regrind and repellet process. Willingness to take direction along with displaying the self-motivation to work alone. Develop and improve training of process technician and giving training to process technician. Maintain training status. Support other facility if necessary.   • Understands and practices safe working procedures. Uses personal protective equipment with lockout/isolation procedures as required. Understands the specific environmental aspects and impact of maintenance duties and work toward reducing them.
  • Ability to communicate openly and clearly with fellow associates. Read or write and-understand specific work instructions and procedures. Understands and practices sharing information with others.
  • Use of hands and power tools to expedite repairs, installation, and maintenance of plant equipment.
  • Use overhead crane in safe manner to transport tools.
  • Use of shop power machinery, lathes, milling machines, saws, dills and grinders.
  • Perform seasonal duties outside of buildings such as snow removal around overhead doors.
  • Ability to select and identify correct fasteners to install various materials and plant equipment.
  • Performs clean up involving dust, dirt, grease and oil around machines as assigned.
  • Assist trade persons with equipment relocations and installations.
  • Disassemble & assemble injection molding tools.
  • Inspect all components of tools and repair/replace defective components.
  • Clean tool (inside/outside) and lubricate using proper.
  • Minor repairs of tools as directed by tooling specialist.
  • Lubricate injection mold machines, as per manual requirements.
  • Keep mold maintenance area clean, organized, and safe for work at all times.
  • Keep chains, slings and eye bolts organized and ensure safe for use.
  • Order replacement parts for mold maintenance shop including crane.
  • Assist in injection molding machine repairs.
  • Assist in takeout devices repairs.
  • Assist with feeding system maintenance and repairs.
  • Fill out documentation required for mold maintenance job.
  • Assist to troubleshoot pneumatic systems including valves, regulators, filters, and actuators.
  • Assist to troubleshoot hydraulic systems including valves, pumps, filter/strainers, flow control.
  • Complete PM work orders of equipment to manufacturer’s recommendations or PM guide and provide feedback on activities and changes to improve the service or equipment.
  • Perform other mold maintenance related duties as assigned to meet departmental responsibilities.
