OVERVIEW

We are looking to hire an IT Manager to join an established team, that supports one of our major petrochemical’s customers. The successful candidate will effectively manage the organization’s IT processes, ensuring the implementation of technology solutions that best serve the needs of the company. Identify suitable systems and applications that meet the organization’s requirements and improve employee productivity. The facility is located in Decatur Alabama. This is not a remote or hybrid role. All work to be performed onsite. Requirements Manage existing support team Maintain a quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards Create and maintain information technology strategy Identify problems and evaluate trends Maintain organization’s effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technologies Initiate, coordinate, and enforces system, policies, and procedures Analyze departmental needs and opportunities for improvement Continuously evaluate processes, and technologies Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes. Develop robust disaster planning and data backup strategies

QUALIFICATIONS

BS degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; an advanceddegree is preferred Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems A minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT management Excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, teamwork and problem solving Strong attention to detail, and exceptional oral and written communication skills Knowledge of systems, networks, software, hardware, and emerging technologies Excellent leadership skills to guide and motivate teams, delegate tasks effectively, and provide direction for IT projects Ability to align IT strategies with business goals, anticipate future needs, and make informed decisions to support the organization’s overall objectives Project management skills Excellent budget planning, cost analysis, and financial management skills
