IT Manager Tropical Assemblies, Inc. 4066 NE 5th Avenue, Oakland Park, FL 33334 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Manager to oversee our organization’s technology infrastructure and ensure the effective delivery of IT services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT service management, network security, and information security. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to analyze complex technical issues while leading a team of IT professionals. Responsibilities Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, firewalls, and network security systems. Develop and implement IT service management processes to ensure efficient service delivery. Oversee software development projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and quality standards. Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support technology initiatives and enhance operational efficiency. Utilize tools such as Jira for project management and tracking progress on IT initiatives. Ensure compliance with information security policies and best practices to protect organizational data. Experience Proven experience in an IT management role or similar capacity. Strong knowledge of AWS services and their integration into existing systems. Familiarity with firewall configurations and network security protocols. Experience in software development methodologies is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
