The Sr. Director of Strategic Business Systems is a keyleadership role within our IT organization, serving as a seniorexpert on the company’s core business systems, including MedTrac,Brightree, Kinnser, and HealthEdge HealthRules Payer core claimsplatform. This role involves developing deep functional andtechnical expertise, providing strategic insights, and makingrecommendations regarding our business systems landscape. Workingclosely with the CIO, Sr. VP of Technology and IT Operations, andbusiness leaders, the Sr. Director will help define technologycomponents of our business strategy. This role acts as a truebusiness partner, understanding operational needs and educatingstakeholders on how technology-including automation and GenAI-canenhance efficiency and reduce costs.
The Sr. Director willcollaborate with the Strategic Initiatives team (PMO), providingcritical system knowledge to support project execution and informthe portfolio roadmap. Strong communication skills are essential toeffectively articulate complex system concepts and providepractical recommendations. The ideal candidate will leverageextensive healthcare systems, process, and industry knowledge toidentify opportunities for innovation and improvement, embodyingour core values of service with compassion, accountability,integrity, collaboration, and innovation.
What will you need tosucceed: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, BusinessAdministration, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience managing businesssystems, preferably in healthcare or managed care. Experience leading strategic technology initiatives andcollaborating with operational stakeholders to improveprocesses. Proven expertise with healthcare business systems, includingclaims platforms, home health solutions, or utilization managementsystems. Strong analytical skills to assess complex requirements andtranslate them into effective technology solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable ofexplaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience evaluating and recommending new technologies toimprove efficiency and operations. Experience managing vendor relationships and collaborating withcross-functional teams.
