Sr. Manager, IT sought by Merastar Insurance Company inJacksonville, FL. 40 hrs./wk.

Duties include:

Manage QualityAssurance Data teams across multiple projects. Set targets toimprove efficiency & quality of QA deliverables. Provide guidance,direction, & motivation to help team exceed expectations. Identifyquality standards for testing teams. Implement QA Center’sstandards, processes, test strategy/plan templates, reportingtemplates & ensure alignment with policies. Ensure effectiveutilization of QA Teams & manage capacity allocations. Provideproject-level reporting. Partner with Business & Development teamsto ensure fulfillment of project QA needs. Partner with TestAutomation Team to fulfill automation needs for projects. Managerisks & issues for test planning, design, enhancements, &execution. Recommend automated & performance testing industry bestpractices & processes in QA organization. Review internal audits &make recommendations on improvements. Mentor QA group to improvedelivery with Quality. Plan & manage resources to ensure multiplepriorities are completed on time & with high quality. Remote work /telecommuting benefits available – Hybrid position. Must report tooffice worksite 2 days per week. Must reside within MSA of officeworksite. REQ.: Bach. degree, or foreign equiv., in Info. Tech,Software Dev. Delivery, QA, P&C Data or related field. 5 yrsexp. in job offered.

managingtesting & data quality aspect of core Insurance Systems (e.g.,Agent Facing, Policy Mgmt, Claims, etc.).; SDLC, working withthird-party vendors & software enhancements, transformations, &updates; leading, coaching & mentoring team members in Datahub,Guidewire ClaimCenter, Guidewire Policy Center apps. 5% short-term,domestic travel may be involved to attend industry conferences. Therange for this position is $131,053 to $168,100. When determiningcandidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education,certifications, and geographic location among other factors.
