Full Job Description Business Optimization Manager Position Highlights:

The Business Optimization Manager will be responsible for leading the optimization initiatives within the CDH organization that achieve savings or cost avoidance within the current fiscal year and future years. They will oversee the development and implementation of strategies to improve financial performance, reduce costs, and enhance revenue generation.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute financial optimization strategies to achieve cost savings and enhance revenue generation for the Information Technology Department, aligned with organizational financial goals. Work with the Management team to help team members establish their annual goal by identifying potential savings and acting up on it to achieve savings. Perform audits on larger IT vendors, where billing is complex and has not been reviewed recently, and or other larger IT vendors at Moffitt and compare billing invoices to the services performed identifying inaccurate billing. Negotiate, or assist in the negotiations of IT contracts that are above $5M (or as requested by Senior Leadership) in total capital and operating expense Provide additional in-house support to managers and directors as necessary to provide experience, advice, and or guidance in areas identified by leadership.

Credentials and Experience :

Bachelor’s Degree – field of study: Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Information Technology Minimum of ten (10) years of Healthcare IT Leadership with proven history of optimizing financial performance. At least five (5) years of managing capital and operating expenses, preferably applicable to healthcare.
