IT Support Manager Salary Range:
$70,000 – $90,000
Overview:
A growing organization is seeking a proactive and hands-on IT Support Manager to lead and evolve its IT support function. This role combines technical troubleshooting, team leadership, and strategic planning to ensure system uptime, user satisfaction, and service excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage help desk operations, prioritize ticket queues, and handle escalations. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement permanent solutions. Establish and maintain IT support policies and documentation. Support and maintain hardware, software, servers, networks, backups, and cybersecurity protocols. Track and report on KPIs and service delivery performance to leadership. Oversee IT budget planning, procurement, and vendor contract management. Collaborate with other IT teams to support broader infrastructure and system implementations. Lead IT projects, system upgrades, and service optimization initiatives. Oversee hardware/software maintenance, user provisioning, and IT onboarding/offboarding. Train and mentor support staff and end-users on systems and tools.
Qualifications:
5-7 years of IT support experience Proven track record managing service desks and technical teams. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, cloud, cybersecurity).
