Full-Time | On-Site Overview Grand Beach Hotel Surfside is seeking an experienced, on-site IT Manager to oversee day-to-day hotel technology operations. This role reports directly to the IT Director and collaborates closely with department heads to ensure all systems supporting guest services and back-office operations run reliably and efficiently. The IT Manager will lead the onsite IT team and provide hands-on support for critical platforms, including Opera PMS and Micros POS. Key Responsibilities Lead the onsite IT support team, managing workload, support tickets, and project priorities Report directly to the IT Director, providing updates on infrastructure performance, support trends, and ongoing initiatives Collaborate with department leaders to understand operational needs and align technology solutions to hotel goals Support and maintain core hotel systems, including Opera PMS, Micros POS, and guest services technology Administer and support VMware virtualization and Azure-based cloud resources Manage and maintain Ruckus Wi-Fi systems, managed network switches, and firewall configurations Oversee and support the VingCard electronic lock system to ensure seamless integration with the PMS and key control Handle the procurement, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, printers, and other technology assets Coordinate with third-party vendors for service, installations, and support escalations Ensure compliance with data security protocols, including PCI and internal IT policies Maintain documentation for infrastructure, systems, and standard operating procedures Respond to critical issues as needed, including after-hours and weekend emergencies Qualifications 3+ years of IT support or systems administration experience in a hotel or hospitality setting Strong hands-on experience with Opera PMS, Micros POS, VMware, Azure, Ruckus, managed switches, and VingCard systems Solid understanding of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, networking, and endpoint management Proven ability to manage and lead a small technical team Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with hotel leadership Availability for on-call support during emergencies or major system events Preferred Experience with additional hospitality systems (PBX, IPTV, surveillance) Familiarity with ticketing or help desk platforms and asset tracking tools.
