Local •CACI is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior IT Release Manager to join our team to support our customer, U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), in Doral, Florida. This position is contingent upon award of the
USSOUTHCOM
Cyber Information Technology Enterprise Services (SCITES2). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality releases while fostering collaboration between development teams, product owners, and stakeholders that support
USSOUTHCOM
products and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Servant leader and coach for an Agile Release Train (ART) Guardian of value delivery and business objectives Oversee and coordinate the end-to-end release management process for multiple agile teams. Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and Development teams to plan and prioritize releases. Manage release schedules, ensuring alignment with sprint cycles and product roadmaps. Facilitate release planning meetings and coordinate cross-team dependencies. Implement and maintain agile release management best practices and tools. Monitor and report on release progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders. Coordinate with QA teams to ensure proper testing and quality assurance processes are followed. Manage release documentation, including release notes and deployment instructions. Work with operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and post-release support. Continuously improve the release management process to increase efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
Required Qualifications:
Must hold an active secret level clearance Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 7+ years of experience in IT release management or similar role Agile/SAFe expertise (certifications like SAFe RTE highly valued) Program management fundamentals Facilitation and coaching techniques Conflict resolution abilities Metrics and reporting proficiency Agile tool proficiency (ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps) – ________________________________________________________________________________________

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
