Information Technology Services Manager Position Available In Palm Beach, Florida

Akkodis is currently seeking an IT Services Manager for a client in the West Palm Beach area. The ideal candidate for this role is a proactive and organized IT professional with strong technical expertise in network infrastructure and service desk operations, proven leadership experience, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer support and continuous process improvement. Pay Range:

$80,000-$90,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with staff to ensure systems, applications, and network infrastructure are secure and fully operational. Oversee tiered support and ticket escalation processes, ensuring timely resolution of network and security issues. Maintain accurate documentation of changes to systems, applications, and network configurations. Continuously improve the service desk process, emphasizing efficient resolution of network and security incidents. Ensure all support calls during business hours are answered promptly and tickets are logged and tracked to resolution. Manage the service desk platform and incident management tools, including tracking of network and security-related issues. Supervise a small technical support team, scheduling on-site and remote resources to meet operational needs. Provide tier 2 and 3 support for complex issues, particularly in network and security troubleshooting. Deliver training on network and security protocols; monitor technician progress and performance.

Qualifications and Key Competencies:

Preferred Certifications:

Network+, CCNA, HDI, or ITIL.

Required Experience:

8+ years in a helpdesk or IT support role with a strong focus on network infrastructure and service management. Proficiency with IT Service Management systems and Microsoft network environments. Familiarity with Fortinet is a plus. Strong skills in Windows PC troubleshooting and technical documentation. Proven ability to train and mentor staff effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail, with an organized, analytical approach to work and support improvement. Able to prioritize tasks, adapt to change, and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users. This position is open to exceptional relocation candidates.
