Position Summary The IT Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of information technology systems across all Flournoy Health Systems entities. This role will ensure secure, scalable, and reliable IT infrastructure, support cross-functional operations, and drive digital transformation in alignment with healthcare compliance standards. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of managing day-to-day IT operations while supporting long-term innovation. Responsibilities Technical Oversight & Infrastructure Manage and maintain all core IT systems, including hardware, networks, cloud infrastructure, and software platforms (Google Workspace, ADP, Paycom, EMR/EHRs). Oversee implementation and migration projects (e.g., Google to Microsoft 365), ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Ensure IT systems are HIPAA-compliant, secure, and aligned with healthcare industry best practices. Cross-Entity Support & Integration Lead the unification and optimization of systems across brands and departments (Home Care, Hospice, ABA Therapy, etc.). Standardize tools, platforms, and workflows to ensure consistency across locations and business units. Provide support and training to teams using EMRs, CRMs, mobile devices, and cloud-based systems. Strategy, Planning & Project Management Partner with leadership to define and execute the organization’s IT roadmap. Lead or contribute to system audits, new technology evaluations, and vendor negotiations. Collaborate with HR, Finance, Clinical Ops, and Compliance to automate and streamline processes. Team Leadership & Vendor Management Oversee internal IT personnel and external consultants/vendors. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members. Manage service agreements, licensing, and vendor performance metrics
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or lead capacity. Experience in healthcare, with a strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare IT systems. Proven success implementing and managing cloud-based solutions, especially Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace. Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices, data privacy, and access control protocols.
Preferred:
Experience in a multi-site, multi-brand healthcare setting. Familiarity with EMRs (Kinnser, Axxess, TheraNest, etc.) and CRM tools. Certifications such as PMP, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
