This is a hands-on, high-impact role supporting both corporate and clinical teams across more than 400 employees nationwide. You’ll own endpoint management, IT operations, device logistics, and vendor tools—all with a strong lens on automation, security, and service excellence. What you’ll own: uD83DuDCF1 Endpoint & Device Management (30%) Manage the lifecycle of laptops, mobile devices, and medical kits across corporate and clinical staff Standardize MDM provisioning for nurse practitioner kits and field devices Automate device setup and tracking for new hires and remote contractors Own the process for secure equipment retrieval, reimaging, and redeployment Determine device standards across user groups (Engineering, Ops, Clinical, etc.) and drive upgrade cycles Oversee workstation maintenance, OS patching, and endpoint protection uD83DuDEE0️ IT Helpdesk & Operational Support (20%) Build internal IT support workflows with a focus on Slack-based requests Triage software access issues and bugs across tools like Zendesk and Five9 Coordinate onboarding and offboarding logistics with People Ops Maintain provisioning checklists and day-of support for critical hardware or software blockers Create intuitive setup guides and training videos for new devices uD83DuDD10 Security (15%) Implement and monitor endpoint protection and secure authentication systems Lead vulnerability management, device hardening, and patching Develop and maintain incident response playbooks (e.g., lost/stolen device protocols) Drive company-wide phishing simulations and staff security training ✅ Compliance (15%) Partner with Legal on HIPAA, SOC2, and BAA vendor compliance Maintain audit-readiness with clear access logs, device inventories, and written policies Support periodic internal and external security assessments uD83DuDCBC Software Procurement & Vendor Management (10%) Manage licenses and contracts for core software: Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Figma, etc. Negotiate renewals and evaluate cost-saving opportunities by eliminating unused tools Centralize vendor relationships across Product, Clinical, Ops, and Finance uD83DuDE91 Clinical Infrastructure Support (10%) Ensure reliable hardware setup for field-based clinicians and mobile teams Standardize kits for home-based visits (barcode scanners, printers, mobile hotspots) Monitor and troubleshoot field connectivity and wireless signal strength; provide continuous evaluation of best connectivity solutions Set baseline expectations and configurations for secure remote work setups Who are you? You’ve built out IT programs from the ground up—especially employee device management at high-growth startups You’ve managed IT infrastructure and device fleets at scale—ideally across distributed or hybrid teamsYou take pride in clean systems, documentation, and high standards of support You understand the stakes of keeping clinical operations running without disruption You’re proactive, solutions-oriented, and collaborative across technical and non-technical teams
