Position Overview:

Providence Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented IT Asset Manager to support the procurement, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management of hardware and software assets across the organization. This role plays a key part in optimizing technology investments, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and maintaining accurate records to support operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of working under general supervision while following established processes.

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update IT asset records and inventory databases, including hardware, software licenses, warranties, and service agreements Support IT procurement processes by coordinating orders, tracking deliveries, and reconciling received assets Monitor asset lifecycles to ensure timely renewals, replacements, and disposals in accordance with organizational policies Ensure software license compliance by tracking usage, terms, and renewal timelines Assist in implementing and enforcing asset management policies and procedures to support product standardization and cost control Work collaboratively with IT, finance, and procurement teams to validate asset needs and maintain budget alignment Track and document product performance, usage, and service quality throughout the asset lifecycle Generate periodic reports on asset inventory, usage trends, and contract status to inform decision-making

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field 0-3 years of experience in asset management, procurement, inventory control, or related IT administrative roles Basic understanding of IT hardware and software components Strong organizational, analytical, and data entry skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and experience using asset management systems or databases Ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with IT asset management tools or platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Lansweeper, or similar) Knowledge of software licensing models and vendor support agreements Exposure to ITIL practices or working in a service-oriented IT environment Public Trust Clearance required
