Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient IT Manager to oversee and maintain our IT infrastructure, with a specific focus on supporting and optimizing our construction software ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry- to mid-level IT professional with a passion for technology and a desire to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in IT principles and hands-on experience with construction-specific software applications.

Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including network hardware, servers, workstations, and software applications. Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, both remotely and on-site. Administer and optimize construction software applications such as [List specific software used, e.g., Procore, Autodesk BIM 360, PlanGrid, Sage 300 CRE, etc.]. Collaborate with project teams to ensure effective utilization of construction software and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and system integrity. Manage software licenses and subscriptions, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness. Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new IT solutions to support business needs. Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems and procedures. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the construction industry and IT field. Manage and mentor junior IT staff (if applicable). Manage IT budgets and vendor relationships.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration. Demonstrated experience with construction-specific software applications (e.g., Procore, Autodesk BIM 360, PlanGrid, Sage 300 CRE, etc.). Specify which are essential and which are a plus. Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs. Experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory. Familiarity with cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Azure). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in the construction industry is a strong advantage. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus.
