Part-Time Power Platform Specialist Location:

Atlanta, GA Role Overview The Power Platform Specialist will provide critical support for existing Power Automate and Power Apps solutions while serving as a technical advisor to help teams build capabilities with these tools. This role bridges technical expertise with business acumen, enabling the team to effectively leverage low-code/no-code solutions that drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Provide maintenance and support for existing Power Automate flows and Power Apps applications, including troubleshooting, debugging, and implementing enhancements Deliver coaching and training to both technical and non-technical team members on Power Platform capabilities and best practices Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to upskill staff on creating, maintaining, and optimizing Power Platform solutions Collaborate with business process owners to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions Assist in documenting processes, solutions, and standard operating procedures Guide teams on governance, security, and best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem Serve as a liaison between IT and business units, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience (2+ years) implementing and supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions, with specific focus on Power Automate and Power Apps Proven track record of maintaining and troubleshooting existing workflows and applications Experience conducting training or coaching sessions on technical tools Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions with supporting documentation Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including SharePoint, Teams, and other integrated services Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Power Platform certification(s) Experience working in non-profit or similar mission-driven organizations Knowledge of Dataverse, Power BI, and other components of the Power Platform Experience with solution architecture and governance in Microsoft environments Background in business process analysis and optimization Experience with Agile methodologies Soft Skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities for working with diverse stakeholders Patient and effective teaching style for technical knowledge transfer Adaptable problem-solving approach Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities Ability to switch contexts between technical implementation and business strategy discussions Consultative mindset with focus on understanding stakeholder needs Ability to guide prioritization and self-manage work and outputs Compensation and Benefits Slalom prides itself on helping team members thrive in their work and life.
