Job Description

IT Manager Commercial Floor Resources 153 Will Allen Dr NE, Calhoun, GA 30701 The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the smooth operation of the IT department, including implementing and maintaining technology infrastructure, and aligning IT strategies with organizational goals in conjunction with our IT vendors. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic planning abilities to ensure the company’s technology systems are efficient, secure, and support the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations. Coordinate with other departments to understand their technology needs and ensure IT services meet those needs. Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance business processes and productivity. Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems. Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing robust cybersecurity measures. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and optimize performance. Plan, execute, and manage IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope. Track project progress and provide regular updates to leadership team and CEO. Provide technical support to internal staff, resolving IT-related issues promptly. Maintain an inventory of IT assets and manage software licenses. Ensure data backup and disaster recovery plans are in place and regularly tested.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred. Proven experience in IT or a similar role. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. IT project management experience with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
