Summary:

DataPath, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Manager (Internal Support) to lead our information technology operations and ensure the secure, efficient, and compliant delivery of IT services and infrastructure for our Department of Defense contracts. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing network, systems, and vendor management.

Responsibilities:
Network & Infrastructure Management:

With collaboration assist in the design, implement, and maintain secure corporate network and LAN/WAN infrastructure, adhering to DoD cybersecurity standards With collaboration assist in the management Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, and Group Policy with a focus on system security and compliance With collaboration assist in the develop and enforce robust processes, standards, and documentation for infrastructure management aligned with DoD requirements With collaboration assist in the conducting regular system-wide capacity analysis, providing recommendations for future technical solutions and areas for improvement With collaboration oversee implementation and maintenance of resilient backup and disaster recovery systems Cloud & Office 365

Administration:

With collaboration, manage and secure the Office 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams With collaboration, implement and maintain stringent data loss prevention, compliance, and information governance policies With collaboration, provision and configure O365 services, user accounts, and security policies in line with DoD regulations With collaboration, provide targeted training and support to end-users on O365 applications, emphasizing security best practices

Vendor & Service Management:

Oversee relationships with managed services providers. With collaboration define and monitor service levels and KPIs, ensuring quality and timely incident resolution Analyze help desk reports, identify trends, and implement process improvements Provide escalation support and guidance for Tier 1 and Tier 2 support Develop and maintain strategic vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with DoD compliance requirements

Compliance & Security:

Collaborate with MSSP and compliance stakeholders to meet

Rev 2 requirements for Cyber Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) – Level 2 Ensure all IT systems and processes comply with DoD regulations and cybersecurity policies Implement and maintain robust security measures across all IT infrastructure and operations

Operational and Financial Management:

With collaboration assist in the IT initiatives, coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align with organizational goals Hire, train, and supervise IT staff, fostering a security-conscious and compliance-oriented team culture Assign responsibilities, evaluate performance, and promote professional development within the IT team Forecast IT requirements, prepare and manage annual budgets, and schedule expenditures Analyze financial variances and initiate corrective actions to maintain fiscal responsibility With collaboration determine and prioritize IT operations service requirements based on user/department needs and organizational objectives With collaboration develop and implement documentation requirements for efficient problem resolution and knowledge management Strong expertise in: Windows servers (2008+), Azure/Entra Active Directory, and enterprise networking Office 365 administration and cloud services management Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware) Storage and backup technologies Cisco technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, phone systems) Cybersecurity proficiency: NIST, FISMA, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity standards and policies Compliance requirements and controls implementation Patch and vulnerability management Business continuity/disaster recovery (BCDR) Asset management and ticketing systems Project and process management: Change Management best practices (ITIL certification preferred) IT infrastructure planning and development Process improvement and project management principles Technical skills: Microsoft Office Suite proficiency Ability to quickly adapt to specialized applications and hardware Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Communication, Leadership, and Personal attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Outstanding leadership abilities Exceptional customer service orientation Self-motivated with attention to detail Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment Anticipate end-user needs while operating in highly secure environments Work Conditions Based in Duluth, GA (in office) On-call availability for Priority 1 issues

Minimum Requirements:

Must Be a US Citizen 7+ years of experience in IT management, network administration, and systems support Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
