About Us:
Blessed Sacrament School is a dynamic Catholic Preschool-Grade 8 school committed to academic excellence, faith formation, and the integration of technology as a tool for learning and innovation. We are seeking a part-time Director of Technology to oversee and enhance the school’s technology infrastructure and support systems.
Position Summary:
The Director of Technology will manage all aspects of technology operations at Blessed Sacrament School. This role includes oversight of digital systems, in-classroom technology, and device support, while also driving forward-thinking initiatives such as AI integration and improved digital fluency.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all technology systems and initiatives across the school Configure and maintain student management and administrative systems using Google G Suite and FACTS Management Provide responsive, hands-on support for classroom technology (e.g., smart boards, teacher workstations, etc.) Troubleshoot and manage student devices, including iPads and Chromebooks Administer software applications, device permissions, and access controls Maintain and enhance key infrastructure in partnership with third-party vendors and service providers Support faculty and staff in using technology effectively and creatively Lead or contribute to school-wide technology initiatives, including infrastructure upgrades and AI adoption
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience managing essential systems for a small-to-mid-sized organization (email, security, file sharing, access restrictions) Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace (G Suite for Education) Proven ability to provide IT support in an educational or customer-focused environment Familiarity with managing vendors and service agreements for IT infrastructure and tools Comfort using Google productivity tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) or similar platforms A creative mindset to promote technology as a powerful tool for teaching, learning, and engagement
