Weare seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Director of CloudInfrastructure to join our high-performing team. This role offersan exciting opportunity to lead and shape the IT security strategyfor our engineering firm. The successful candidate will beresponsible for managing the organization’s securityinfrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, andavailability of our digital assets, and mitigating risks associatedwith threats and vulnerabilities. This role is integral to thesuccess of our business, and we are looking for a dedicatedprofessional with a passion for IT security and a proven trackrecord in the field.

Responsibilities:

•This is a uniqueopportunity to join a very well funded startup who is in thebeginning stages of moving to AWS for a better baked in securityenvironment. This candidate should have a high level of confidencein building an AWS environment from scratch, highly versed withTerraform and knowledge of what technologies should be adopted tohelp scale. We are not looking for someone with strong senior levelexperience to manage a current cloud infrastructure, but a seniorlevel manager/director who can manage a 3 person DevOps team alongwith a 3 person IT team who will be responsible for the ground updevelopment using AWS/Terraform.

Qualifications:

Excellent hands onAWS/Terraform cloud infrastructure build experience Healthcareproduct industry experience highly preferred with ISO/SOCregulation experience A bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT,or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications such asCISSP, CSA, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect are preferred. Themore AWS Certs the better! Demonstrable experience with AWS andTerraform Strong knowledge of IT security risks, threats, andvulnerabilities, and the ability to develop strategies to mitigatethese. Proven experience in managing a complex securityinfrastructure. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability towork under pressure. Strong leadership skills, with the ability tomotivate and manage a team. Excellent communication skills, withthe ability to explain complex security issues to non-technicalstakeholders.
