General Responsibilities Elaborate and execute the NORAM poultry plan to increase Novus’ market penetration through core solutions to meet Novus’ financial goals. Work hand in hand with regional tech and sales teams to implement the poultry plan and have a better understanding of the customer’s needs to bring the proper solution to the appropriate customer/ segment. Build alongside the MarComm team the strategic communication plan to increase awareness on Novus’ poultry solutions and expertise, including digital communications, customer face-to-face activities as well as industry congresses participation. Ensure that technical and commercial information and materials are in alignment regarding value propositions and key messages. Along with Marketing Insights, analyze and track competitors’ messages, market penetration, value propositions, and segments as well as the industry trends. Work with other regions’ poultry marketing managers to be aligned, with the proper adaptations, on value propositions, programs, and strategy to leverage Novus’ position cross-regionally. Enhance Novus’ relationship with KOLs and key Professional Associations across North America. Establish effective direction by providing strategy, guidance, and context to the sales and tech team for proper execution of the business plan to achieve poultry objectives. Strengthening lateral influence across the organization to determine areas of focus. Coordinate the sales team’s technical & marketing training. Work along with R D, function, and the regional technical management to fill in the gaps on current solutions, build storylines for Novus’ poultry programs, and to identify opportunities to develop complementary solutions and/or services. Provide marketing leadership and provide voice of the market as part of marketing representation on innovation projects where applicable. Adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), Novus Integrity System (NIS), and all policies and procedures related to position assignment. General Guidance/Knowledge/Skills/Experience Advanced degree or comparable training in animal production, health, or nutrition. Strong knowledge in the poultry business and industry is desirable. 6+ years of experience in the animal nutrition industry and 6 years of experience in marketing or product management within animal nutrition. Strong analytical skills and knowledge, and experience building strategic business plans. Preferably, proven project management skills. Marketing leadership skills in a complex cross-functional environment, connecting customer needs with Novus’ technical and R D teams. Ability to apply knowledge and experience to confidently voice marketing objectives while partnering with cross-functional peers. Demonstrated marketing planning/execution expertise. Communication skills (assertiveness) written & oral, internal and customer-facing. Proven expertise in Poultry industries, sound knowledge of animal nutrition and/or health businesses preferred. Strong network with industry stakeholders in the poultry industry. Excellent interpersonal skills & leadership skills to set direction, lead, and collaborate across the organization to determine critical areas of focus and to reach organizational objectives. Other essential Requirements Fluent in English. Up to 40% traveling. Cross-Functional Relationships At a regional level: sales leadership and technical service teams, category management & marketing insights, marketing communications, finance, regulatory affairs. Other functions may include innovation and R D, portfolio management regarding specific projects.
