Full Job Description Position Summary :

The IS Infrastructure Manager is an essential member of the IS Team responsible for design, implementation, support, and security of infrastructure solutions at FastMed. Areas on responsibility include data centers, servers/virtualization, network, storage, telephony, O365, AWS, & Azure.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the secure reliable operation of all IT Infrastructure systems – ensures the continuous reliable operation of all critical infrastructure. Primary areas of responsibility include data centers, servers/virtualization/converged systems, network LAN/WAN/wi-fi, O365, Cloud solutions. Oversees the planning, procurement, implementation, operations, maintenance and obsolescence of FastMed’s infrastructure. Is responsible for regular and out-of-sync security patching on all server, data center, network, storage and client systems. Ensure high availability designs of essential infrastructure, and backup / recovery of all key systems. Designs and maintains disaster recovery /business continuity for all critical systems. Leads the migration to cloud based/hosted services. Understands and promotes cyber security best practice, such as encryption, MFA, segmentation, HIPAA and PCI compliance. Manages technical personnel including System Administrators and Network Engineers. Exhibits effective leadership through coaching and mentoring of team members. Develops and maintain needed policies and procedures. Tracks vendor expenses, ensures adherence to operating budget and prepares annual infrastructure budget Performs other duties assigned.

Education and Skills Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in, Computer Science, Engineering, Management of Informational Systems or equivalent. Experience in managing technical teams and projects. Solid understanding of industry best practices and standards. Experience developing, monitoring and achieving SLA’s. Experienced with vendor management & negotiating contracts. High level of objectivity, tact, customer service, and diplomacy to establish and maintain an effective on-going relationship with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to analyze situations, respond independently, prioritize to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and be a team player while maintaining a positive attitude. This role will be hybrid.
