Director of Information Technology Job Summary:

The Director of Information Technology will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT operations, for two, $500M business units, ensuring the alignment of technology initiatives with business goals. This role involves technology planning, project management, managing IT resources, contractors and technology suppliers. This is a hands-on role that reports into HQ IT where all technology is identified and procured.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement an IT project roadmap in alignment with the company’s business objectives. Direct an ERP data conversion and migration from a legacy Infor product to Infor Cloud Suite Distribution (CSD). Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers. Ensure the security, integrity, and availability of all IT systems and data. Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and maximizing ROI. Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technological solutions that enhance business processes and customer experience. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including data protection and cybersecurity. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers. Drive digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support business growth.

Requirements:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT project management. Have had lead roles in ERP migrations. Knowledge of CRM, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Business Intelligence platforms. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and digital transformation. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Working knowledge with generative AI models. Experience in distribution is a plus.
