Work Responsibilities:
The Director of Process Cooling position requires technical capability, strategic account management experience as well as a health contact database within industrial refrigeration. This position will work with management to further develop and define the Morris & Associates Process Cooling division.
Job Duties:
Specific job responsibilities of the Director of Process Cooling will include but are not limited to: Strategic planning for the Process Cooling division of the company. Work directly with Morris engineers to develop “assemble to order” solutions for more common applications. Build on your existing relationships with customers to find new opportunities outside of standard Morris services. Working with other members of sales team to support ongoing sales of ice systems and custom thermal projects. Acquire new contacts in various industries (examples include Baking, Produce, Nuclear etc.). Network with industrial refrigeration contractors and suppliers to broaden Morris’ pipeline for opportunities Attend relevant industry trade shows and events. Travel to customer sites to formulate first plans/solutions for custom applications. Utilize CRM (customer relationship management) software for continued development of the Process Cooling sales pipeline. Work with marketing to utilize social media and other tools to generate leads Take on additional management duties as the Process Cooling sales team expands.
Qualifications:
Senior experience with at least 10 years in industrial refrigeration Sales and sales management experience
Key Relationships:
This position reports directly to the President Direct communication with engineering, sales and service teams Weekly management and sales meetings with full Morris sales personnel
Education:
BS or MS in Engineering MBA or relevant experience in business management or sales
