We are seeking an experienced Clinic IT Director is responsible for overseeing the technology infrastructure and operations within a healthcare clinic setting. This role ensures that all IT systems and applications are effectively supporting the clinic’s goals and patient care objectives. The IT Director collaborates closely with clinical staff, administrative teams, and external vendors to maintain a secure, efficient, and innovative IT environment. Key Responsibilities Technology Strategy and Planning Develop and execute strategic IT initiatives that align with clinical goals and future growth. Anticipate and plan for technological advancements that can enhance patient care and internal workflows. Guide innovation through research, vendor evaluation, and pilot implementations. Systems and Infrastructure Management Oversee cloud infrastructure via Microsoft Azure, asset inventory (Snipe-IT), and VPN gateways. Maintain domain-joined device management through Microsoft Intune, managing compliance policies, remote app deployments, and Windows updates. Ensure uptime and reliability for Electronic Medical Records (eCW, Athena), cloud printing, and RingCentral VoIP. Plan and manage network architecture using Cisco and Aruba. Manage software and system updates, ensure secure configurations, and monitor system performance.

Team Leadership and Collaboration Lead a team of IT professionals, providing mentorship, setting performance goals, and fostering continuous development. Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT, clinic management, and care teams to align technology with operational needs. Onboard and train staff on IT policies, tools, and security best practices. Budgeting and Resource Allocation Forecast and manage the IT department’s budget, balancing maintenance, innovation, and security investments. Coordinate Meraki license renewals and hardware upgrades; ensure lifecycle planning for critical equipment. Evaluate ROI for proposed IT solutions and recommend cost-effective improvements. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a healthcare setting. Experience with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks, Allscripts and Athena preferred) systems and healthcare IT applications. Skills and Competencies Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
