Job Description:

Work closely with the Head of IT and Deputy Head of IT toprovide management control and support across all domains ofInformation Technology, including but not limited to ApplicationDevelopment, Architecture, Data, Infrastructure, Strategy,Planning, Project & Program Management, Analysis, ResourceManagement, Vendor Management, and Business & Financial Matters.

IT. JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work directly withthe Head of IT, the Deputy Head of IT and other managers to provideenhanced management control across all areas of IT. Partner with ITmanagers, business managers, and the IT Architecture group to driveselect strategic plans, for example, Data Strategy, as well asanalysis and potential adoption of emerging technologies at theBank. Provide general IT management across a broad set of ITdomains as assigned; at times, stepping in to provide additionalmanagement oversight for other teams’ projects and run-the-bankactivities, particularly throughout our multi-year transformation.

Assist in Portfolio planning and development includingprioritization, sequencing, feasibility, and risk assessment,across multiple resource pools, multiple functions, andapplications. Assist in project planning and execution oversight ofassigned activities across all IT areas. Lead IT-wide ContinuousImprovement planning and program management. Materially participatewith IT leadership in IT Architecture decisions and to develop andexecute the IT Strategy Perform various related duties as assignedby management.

REQUIREMENTS

Strong understanding across coretechnology domains in the financial services industry. ExtensiveHands-on experience managing Development and Support ofmission-critical, distributed financial services technologyapplications and staff (preferably Custody and/or SecuritiesLending Technology) A demonstrated capability in integrating Vendorsolutions and Technology products with home-grown solutions. StrongVendor Management skills. Architectural mindset with broadunderstanding across multiple technology stack environments anddomains like Infrastructure, Cloud, Data Governance and emergingtechnologies. Deep understanding of core IT management and controltopics, including: SDLC, Project and Resource Management, TotalCost of Ownership (TCO), Information Security, Risk Management, andAudit. Experience working with regulatory examiners is preferred.

Experience in developing and executing strategic IT roadmaps andtransformative projects. Very strong analytical skills, businessacumen, leadership and communications skills.
