Description PositionOverview:

This is a hands-on leadership role within the Technologyteam, responsible for overseeing day-to-day IT operations whilesupporting strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will workclosely with local management and global teams to execute theGroup’s technology strategy, ensuring alignment with businessobjectives. This role includes people management responsibilities,with direct oversight of a team of four.

Key Responsibilities:

End-User Support:

Lead Help Desk/Desktop Support services, ensuringprompt and effective resolution of hardware, software, and generaltechnology issues across the organization.

Application Management:

Oversee the lifecycle of critical applications-includingidentification, outage and disruption handling, upgrades,replacements, and testing.

Technology Lifecycle & Budgeting:

Maintain a supported and supportable hardware/software environmentby managing lifecycle planning, budgeting, and resource allocationin coordination with international teams.

Infrastructure Support:

Provide local support during infrastructure outages, updates,testing, and troubleshooting efforts.

Documentation:

Ensuredocumentation and system flow diagrams for New York-basedapplications are accurate and regularly updated.

Vendor Management:

Oversee relationships with technology vendors, including licensemanagement, procurement, and invoice review. Collaborate with localand global procurement teams to ensure proper onboarding, riskassessments, and due diligence processes.

Business Engagement:

Actas the key liaison for technology changes affecting the business,collecting feedback and ensuring smooth change management andadoption.

Risk & Governance:

Lead risk-related initiativesincluding disaster recovery testing, business continuity planning,controls monitoring, and audit reporting.

Team Management:

Overseea team of four, managing workload prioritization, resourcescheduling, performance goals, cross-training, leave, and expenses.

Support each team member’s development through regularcommunication, IDP planning, and performance reviews. Audit ℜgulatory

Interface:

Serve as the primary contact fortechnology-related interactions with internal/external auditors andlocal regulators, including the annual OCC examination.

ProfileTechnology Operations Management:

Proven experience in managingdesktop support, application support, networking, data centers, andAV systems in highly regulated environments.

Regulatory &Compliance Engagement:

Hands-on experience working withinregulatory frameworks (FINRA, OCC) and coordinating with internalaudit teams.

End-User Support & Collaboration Tools:

Proficient inMicrosoft Office Suite, Windows 11, Horizon, MDM/mobile deviceadministration, Zoom (including Crestron panel integration and ZoomPhone systems), and enterprise printing solutions (Ricoh,Equitrac).

People Leadership:

Extensive experience in leadingcross-functional support teams with a focus on performance,continuous improvement, and global coordination.

Communication &Change Management:

Skilled in bridging the gap between IT andbusiness, ensuring smooth adoption of technology upgrades anddigital transformation initiatives.

Emerging Technologies:

Exposureto AI tools, with recent experience supporting aggressivedeployment of Microsoft Copilot.
