Position Overview:

The Director of Technology & Operations plays a pivotal role in shaping, maintaining, and improving our IT infrastructure and Operational Technology (OT) systems. You’ll serve as both the strategic leader and tactical expert – managing our networks, ensuring cybersecurity, supporting connected manufacturing systems, and driving operational efficiencies. This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role for someone who enjoys getting into the field and making things work.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the management of IT and OT networks, including network architecture, server systems, and industrial machine interfaces.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure technology infrastructure supports production and business operations.
Design and implement security protocols across networks, with a focus on safeguarding manufacturing systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT/OT issues-from system failures to machine connectivity.
Evaluate and deploy new technologies that improve performance, uptime, and safety.
Oversee system upgrades, network builds, and expansions across departments.
Document systems, create SOPs, and build disaster recovery plans.
Provide leadership and mentorship to a small technical team.
