Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to join our team in New York, New York, on a Contract to permanent basis. In this role, you will oversee IT operations and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security across the organization. This position is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong technical background and the ability to drive results in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT systems, including Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, and endpoint security solutions.
- Oversee desktop imaging, device deployment, and helpdesk operations to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues within Cisco infrastructure to maintain optimal connectivity.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures, aligning with organizational frameworks and best practices.
- Lead and mentor IT teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to achieve operational goals.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and change management initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support technology needs and streamline workflows.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Manage backup solutions and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical data and systems.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance IT capabilities and meet evolving business requirements. Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT operations, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
- Expertise in Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, and endpoint security technologies.
- Hands-on experience with desktop imaging, device deployment, and helpdesk systems.
- Strong knowledge of network performance monitoring and Cisco infrastructure.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver measurable improvements in IT operations.
- Exceptional documentation, communication, and change management skills.
- Preferred experience in healthcare, education, or human services industries.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Microsoft 365 Admin, or equivalent are advantageous.
