Full-Time Reports to: Chief Operating Officer Purpose The Director, IT Infrastructure & Security provides strong leadership and facilitation skills, coordinating delivery for all information technology (IT) services for PANTHERx Specialty Pharmacy. This role oversees Telephony & Mobile Device Management, network infrastructure, hardware, data center and cloud base systems, desktop support, and equipment purchases. The role is also responsible for systems capacity planning, systems business continuity, and disaster recovery. Responsibilities Evaluates the information systems roadmap, redesigns/implements improvements to hardware, software, and overall infrastructure based on new developments and trends in healthcare information systems. Provides hand-on systems support, while also providing oversight of information systems staff and/or 3rd-party vendors. Recommends to higher-level management application additions, enhancements, or replacements. Creates staffing models designed to scale and meet the growing needs of PANTHERx. Ensures all building systems and equipment have the required safeguards and redundancies to ensure seamless productivity. Creates a risk mitigation plan along with a process to monitor critical components related to IT infrastructure. Creates a strategic IT roadmap (in partnership with other technology team leaders, and COO as applicable) designed to meet the needs of PANTHERx into future years. Develops and monitors departmental budget to ensure IT department provides cost-effective, high quality, and stable services to internal and external customers. Creates capacity planning to ensure highly performing and highly available systems as company grows. Creates roadmap and work plan to ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and consistent with company business requirements. Performs work on additional projects and activities as assigned. Oversees Telephony & Mobile Device Management, network infrastructure, hardware, data center and cloud base systems, desktop support, purchasing equipment. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field. Minimum of eight (8) years experience in Information Systems or commensurate experience with graduate degree. Minimum of three (3) years experience in Information Systems leadership role or commensurate experience with graduate degree. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in information systems or related field. Minimum of five (5) years information systems experience within a healthcare environment. Prior senior level information systems experience. Project management experience. Work Environment This position operates in a home or professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, see, talk, or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Visual acuity is necessary for tasks such as reading, observing surroundings, or working with various forms of data on a screen.
