Stoney Landing Road, Moncks Corner, SC 29461 A T2NOC (Tier 2 Network Operations Center) Supervisor manages the day-to-day operations of the NOC, ensuring the network’s stability and performance. This role involves overseeing a team, training our team, hiring, disciplining, coaching, and performance reviews, and managing escalations, typically including tier-2 and tier-3 support. You accelerate the resolution process by collaborating with other departments, such as Network Operation Centers (NOCs), Network Engineering, or Field and Client Account teams.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervising and coordinating NOC staff: This includes scheduling, assigning tasks, and providing guidance to engineers and technicians.
Resolving network issues:
Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network problems, often including escalated issues from lower tiers.
Managing escalations:
Acting as a point of contact for senior leadership and managers regarding network issues.
Monitoring network performance:
Ensuring the network is highly available and meets performance requirements.
Collaborating with other departments:
Working with various teams to address network-related problems.
Assisting with projects:
Contributing to the evaluation and implementation of new products, systems, and equipment.
Staff management:
Managing staff performance, conducting performance evaluations, and assisting with hiring and training.
Following procedures:
Adhering to established protocols and policies within the NOC. Work with the T2NOC Manager to streamline the workflow Staying current with technology: Keeping up-to-date with the latest network technologies and trends. Education and Experiences High School Diploma/GED required 5-10 years of experience with a 2-year college degree preferred or 10 years of experience with a high school diploma or GED. Knowledge of the service delivery methods within telecommunications
