Solarwinds Senior level Full Job Description What you’ll do… Manage and grow a lean but high-impact NOC team supporting enterprise-grade network operations across multiple data centers. Lead day-to-day performance tracking across all major KPIs — network availability, incident counts, MTTR, SLA breaches, security events, and cost efficiency. Coordinate directly with multiple Tier 1 and regional carriers to provision, monitor, and maintain voice, data, and private network circuits. Own escalations, outage response, and network events from triage through resolution — balancing speed with structured root cause follow-up. Guide the implementation of infrastructure changes while ensuring full visibility into downstream impact and client-facing reliability. Provide operational leadership while staying close to key decisions — ensuring the right technical, procedural, and vendor decisions are made. Deliver high-trust reporting for executive and technical audiences, including customer satisfaction insights and infrastructure performance rollups. What we’re looking for… Proven ability to lead NOC operations with a focus on team performance, systems accountability, and scalable process development — while stepping in strategically when technical oversight is needed. Deep experience supporting internet, voice, and private network services across a mix of Tier 1 and regional telecom carriers. Strong technical grounding in Cisco networks, BGP, routing policy design, and carrier-grade architecture; Cisco CCNP or equivalent preferred. Demonstrated ability to monitor and optimize across KPIs such as uptime, incident rates, MTTR, SLA adherence, and year-over-year network efficiency. Familiarity with secure, multi-tenant environments requiring network segmentation, access controls, and compliance readiness (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.). Competence in using monitoring and observability tools (NetBox, Grafana, Zabbix, SolarWinds, etc.) to drive uptime and availability. Comfortable serving as a steady operational leader in a fast-moving infrastructure environment, with a sleeves-up mentality and long-game mindset.
