Oversee and manage all aspects of IT day-to-day operations. Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure. In collaboration with IT senior leadership, develop and implement IT policies, manage IT delivery staff (helpdesk, applications, engineering), and align IT strategies with business goals. Guide the management of budgets and vendor negotiations and stay updated on technological advancements to make informed decisions on IT investments. Foster a collaborative work environment and drive team performance to achieve organizational goals. Reports to VP of Information Technology. Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives. Identify key technology trends and innovations to drive business growth and efficiency.
Oversee the IT budget, ensuring that all expenditures are cost-effective and within the allocated budget. Forecast future financial needs, manage expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities.
Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope and budget. Define objectives, create detailed plans, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Negotiate and manage contracts with technology vendors and service providers. Evaluate vendor performance, ensure service level agreements compliance, and maintain strong relationships to secure favorable terms.
Continuously assess current technology capabilities, identify gaps, and plan for future technology needs. Conduct research, evaluate new technologies, and recommend upgrades or new implementations.
Ensure the security of IT systems and data by implementing best practices and compliance measures. Develop and enforce security policies, conduct regular security audits, and respond to security incidents.
Oversee the maintenance and stability of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and applications. Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of all IT systems.
Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations. Create guidelines for system usage, data protection, and incident response.
Communicate IT strategies, progress, and performance to senior management and other stakeholders. Prepare reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to support decision-making.

Requirements
Education
Degree in information technology or related field or equivalent work experience
Experience
10+ years of experience in related IT operations
8+ years of experience in leadership or managerial role
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey IT strategies, progress, and technical information to senior management, stakeholders, and staff
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms
Strong leadership skills to effectively manage, mentor and develop team
Proven ability to support and develop strategies to manage complex IT projects from inception to completion
In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and emerging technologies
Proficient in cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and network management
Licenses / Certifications
ITIL or related training preferred
CISM, CISSP or relevant security certifications preferred
