Job Description
IT Manager Confidential Dickson, TN 37055 This position leads the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency, data security, and business continuity. Oversees network systems, cybersecurity protocols, software applications, and IT support services in alignment with modern best practices and emerging technologies. Promote a culture of safety and security in IT operations, ensuring that best practices in cybersecurity and data protection are consistently applied. Drive continuous improvement through Lean principles, implementing process optimizations and innovative IT solutions to support business goals. Manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud systems, and endpoint devices. Oversee the administration and optimization of Microsoft systems, including Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022, and Microsoft 365. Implement and manage cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, endpoint protection, data encryption, and access control. Lead network administration, including user provisioning, permissions management, data backups, and disaster recovery planning. Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data security and regulatory compliance. Direct IT project management, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions on time and within budget. Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating service contracts and overseeing third-party IT service providers. Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies to optimize business processes and enhance data analytics capabilities. Lead and mentor IT staff, conducting regular performance reviews and identifying skill development opportunities. Oversee IT budget planning, cost control, and financial reporting in alignment with organizational objectives. Ensure accurate documentation of IT assets, software licenses, and network configurations. Provide technical support and training to end users to resolve hardware, software, and network issues effectively.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. 7+ years of experience in IT management, network administration, and systems support in a corporate setting. Proven expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and VMware technologies. Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and incident response. Proficiency in ERP systems management; experience with Friedman AS/400, SAP or Oracle is highly desirable. Experience with cloud computing, data center operations, and virtualization technologies. Strong programming skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience managing remote IT teams and cross-departmental projects. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+,
