Position Summary We are seeking a seasoned IT Operations Manager to lead and oversee the operations of our Helpdesk, Network Operations Center (NOC), Security Operations Center (SOC), and Project Management teams. This leadership role will be responsible for managing IT services for our clients, implementing strategic IT initiatives, and driving operational excellence across multiple service areas. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with strong technical acumen, project management expertise, and a passion for customer service. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Leads and manages IT team including Help Desk (both outsourced and in house resources), Desktop, and Database. Develop and refine policies, procedures, and KPIs to improve operational efficiency. Monitor and analyze metrics to identify areas of improvement and ensure performance targets are met. Lead and manages operations staff, ensuring professional development and accountability. Maintains technical skills and stays current on emerging technology trends. Assists team with troubleshooting complex technical support requests and provide technical direction when needed. Project Management Plan, manage, and execute IT projects on time, within scope, and on budget. Define project goals, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with executive leadership. Communicate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure alignment and transparency. Provide regular status updates to clients and internal leadership. Network and Security Oversight Oversee the performance and security of IT infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. Ensure the availability and reliability of network systems through proactive maintenance and monitoring. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement robust security policies and protocols. Respond to and resolve network issues, outages, and incidents promptly. Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field. 7 years of relevant hands-on technical experience. Proven experience as an Operations Manager, Project Manager, or in a similar role. 5 – 8 years of related experience leading IT function and team members with diverse skillsets. Prefers knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Required knowledge, skills & abilities Superior customer service and relationship skills. Strong understanding of operational management and project management principles. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively. Physical Requirements and Working Environment Manual dexterity is required to use computers and general office equipment; some travel and overtime may be required. Flexibility in working hours may be required to meet project deadlines and operational needs. Must have the ability to physically lift up to 15 pounds; manual dexterity required to use computers and general office equipment.
