Description This will be a 4-6 month contract. The current manager is moving into a new role and this is an immediate need. HR will be looking for a full time candidate, but in the meantime they need someone ASAP to join and lead this team. The VP committed to a minimum 4 month contract, with opportunity to go longer.
- Some travel may be required to the customer site, once every other month, expenses paid by customer The Epic Ancillary Manager oversees the strategic direction and management of the Epic team at Xtensys.
This role involves leveraging expertise in Epic applications to optimize workflows, improve patient care, and manage complex projects. The manager will lead a high-performing team, foster client and vendor relationships, and effectively manage change initiatives to align with organizational goals. Responsibilities
- Leverage expertise in Epic applications to optimize workflows, improve patient care, and manage complex projects
- Lead a high-performing team, foster relationships with vendors, and effectively manage change initiatives to align with organizational goals
- Oversee the strategic direction and management of the Epic Ancillary team
- Leverage knowledge of Epic Foundation and Epic Ambulatory applications to optimize workflows and improve patient care
- Lead a high-performing team of professionals to manage day-to-day operations and solution delivery
- Manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to timelines and budgets
- Foster strong relationships with other Xtensys leaders, customers, and third-party vendors to maximize the value of investments
- Effectively manage change initiatives, minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption
- Partners with connect program manager to assist in connect program development Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare information technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Demonstrated success leading the design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large-scale solutions
- Demonstrated success in influencing and supporting operational partners with organizational change management
- Demonstrated success in leading the improvement of platforms, standards, and processes
- Master’s Degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Demonstrated success managing projects within budget, vendors, partners, and/or managed services
- 5 years of progressive experience in IS or Informatics project, product, and solution delivery
- 2 years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare IT or Informatics
- Vendor certifications (e.
g. Epic) as relevant for the position
