Government Entity Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a PMP certification to lead mission-critical projects, including a major Cloud Migration initiative and other enterprise IT efforts. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Cloud Migration project (50%) and other IT initiatives (50%).
Ensure project deliverables are met in line with approved schedules.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and required artifacts.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders and provide regular status updates.
Manage change requests and provide recommendations to project sponsors.
Resolve conflicts constructively and maintain productive team dynamics.
Ensure adherence to state and industry IT project management standards.
Required Qualifications:
PMP Certification.
3+ years of experience managing IT projects.
Strong understanding of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience delivering projects on time, within scope and budget.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Florida IT Project Management Standards (Rules 60GG-1.001 to 60GG-1.009).
Familiarity with
ISO/IEC 20000
standards.
Proficient in MS Office Suite and Microfocus PPM.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Ability to manage diverse project teams and stakeholders.
Tools & Technologies:
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio)
Microfocus PPM
Cloud technologies (experience preferred)
