The Information Technology Agile Project Management Office ensures continuous delivery of technology solutions and capability enhancements supporting both internal and external solution consumers. The Senior IT Program Manager strategizes and implements high-level program initiatives including synchronicity and alignment of multiple projects that accomplishes desired outcomes for the organization in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. The Senior Manager partners with stakeholders and delivers business targets and program performance. They also lead and manage a team of Project Managers and Business Analysts in facilitation of work and activities in direct alignment to the company’s strategic goals.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage Project Managers, Business Analysts to lead and facilitate project teams for optimal return on investment, coordinate, and delegate cross-project initiatives Collaborate with program sponsorship, cross-functional teams, and other constituents to identify scope, develop deliverables, manage resource and capacity planning, budget management, and evaluating dependencies of competing projects and understands timing of new initiatives Organize and coordinate programs and provide strategic guidance to teams and project participants Coordinate the management of complex issues that may arise as programs seek to deliver benefits Monitor the outputs and outcomes of a program’s component activities and ensure that the program adapts appropriately to them. Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization Key Measures Manage and mentor Project Managers and Business Analysts to the delivery of programs and related projects and initiatives to meet strategic goals Established quality thresholds and measures to gauge business value delivery Developing resource and capacity planning Review, monitor, and track budgets/spend within Projects and Programs Stakeholder goal alignment with program objectives Negotiates compromise as required between competing interests for stakeholder goals and program performance. Clear, concise, and timely communication of program vision and improvements to the organization

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of additional experience in lieu of degree 1 year of experience managing and directing project managers and/or business analysts 7 years of IT project/program management experience 3 years of experience with an agile framework Expertise in project management and managing programs greatly affecting organizational strategy Proficient in Agile program and portfolio management practices and concepts Proficient in company standards, practices, and processes Basic knowledge of product, professional, and business objectives

Preferred Requirements:

Degree in Information Technology, Project Management, or Business Administration PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification Management training 3+ years of experience managing Project Managers and/or Business Analysts 10+ years of project and program management experience 5+ years of experience with an agile framework Additional Information The preceding job responsibilities and tasks were designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by associates in this job.
