The IT Project Coordinator is vital in this ecosystem. This role supports the planning and implementation of all CFS systems. You’ll work directly with managers and clients to clearly define project requirements, scopes, and objectives, making sure they fit our broader project goals. Your responsibilities will include coordinating both internal and external resources to keep projects on scope, schedule, and budget. You’ll also be key in analyzing progress, adjusting plans to meet expectations, communicating important milestones, and providing support as needed, whether you’re working in-office or onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with project planning: Developing detailed project plans, schedules, software specifications and defining milestones.
Resource management:
Coordinating resources for customers and team members.
Tracking project progress:
Monitoring project status, identifying potential issues, and reporting delays to management and to the customer.
Maintaining project documentation:
Keeping records of project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and training documentation.
Facilitating communication:
Organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and documenting action items.
Ensuring project completion:
Working with the team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Stakeholder communication:
Keeping stakeholders informed of project progress and any potential issues.
Training:
Provide system training to users remotely via web conferencing or at customer site.
Support:
Assist customer onsite during system installation and go-live, as well as remotely post go-live.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time management skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
Proficiency in project management tools:
Experience with tools for scheduling, tracking progress, and collaboration.
Problem-solving skills:
Ability to identify and resolve project issues effectively. Knowledge of IT infrastructure and systems: Understanding of technology concepts and terminology. Proficient with basic software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and project management software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Can work effectively both as an individual contributor and as part of a larger team.
Specifics:
The person must be willing and able to travel to customer site. Reliable transportation is a must. Travel time will vary with business demand, but typically would never exceed 30% of annual work time. In-Office schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM. Travel time may require some weekend and/or evening hours. Additional pay incentive provided for travel time and work hours. Salary position
