Summary The Agile Delivery Leader is an Agile subject matter expertwho is responsible for leading value-driven delivery on one or moreScrum/Kanban teams while ensuring that we are meeting ourcustomer’s needs and expectations. The ADL is responsible forfostering an environment where the engineering teams can deliverhigh-quality, valuable software. The ADL is a thought andorganizational leader, trusted to work in a self-directed manner,yet in collaboration with their peers. Job Responsibilities Is aleader who drives business value through best-in-class team andteam-of-teams execution Works to understand team “blind spots” andweaknesses, and develops plan(s) to address Identifies risks andescalates as necessary for assistance to resolve Thoroughlyunderstands the product and initiatives the team is working onTracks the dependencies (both incoming & outcoming) to ensuresmooth execution, minimizing delays Knows when to adjust theceremonies to match the need/style/maturity of the squadProactively identifies and resolves impediments that slowdevelopment or prevent the team from meeting established goals.

Continuously seeks to identify bottlenecks to optimize the overallflow of work. Build trust and strong relationships withinternal/external stakeholders through clear communication andexpectation setting Holds the team accountable for theirresponsibilities in defining project readiness and vision, userstory writing, story mapping, prioritization techniques, feedbackloops, etc. Leads collaborative, dynamic planning process -prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacityand capability of the team. Has responsibility for helping toensure there is a well-managed (“DEEP”) product backlog with PO/PM,and coaching/training where needed for the PO/PM. Leverage toolssuch as Jira to develop and maintain relevant information radiatorsfor tracking, measuring, and reporting on metrics such as teammaturity, team happiness, the effectiveness of agile processes,team throughput/velocity, and portfolio health QualificationsExperience in playing the Scrum Master role for 5 years year for asoftware development team that was diligently applying Scrumprinciples, practices, and theory Has been accountable for deliveryof a full body of work, partnering with dependent teams to buildplans and execute against them Has a deep understanding of thestrengths of different Agile approaches and when they should beused, such as Scrum and Kanban Highly communicative; ability tocommunicate across different levels (ex: Executive Leadership) ofthe organization with confidence Good skills and knowledge ofservant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflictresolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasingtransparency. Very diverse and profound set of communicationsskills. Can communicate effectively and easily with Developers,Partners and Executives. Preferred Skills/Experience Awareness andexperience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories,ATDD, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing,Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games. Software productdevelopment experience Experience executing process changemanagement techniques

Soft Skills:

Ability to navigate enterprisecomplexities to solve problems Strong communication andinterpersonal skills Agile Scrum Master who goes above and beyondfacilitating ceremonies

Hard Skills:

Experience managing/drivingcross-functional software projects Technical delivery managercapable of facilitating ceremonies, building high-performing teamsand driving for results Thorough understanding and experienceworking with both agile and waterfall methodologies on multiplelarge scale, technically complex projects.
