This role reports to the Senior Director of IT. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Applications Manager with a proven record of successfully implementing and supporting Dynamics 365 in a large enterprise setting. This individual must have a strong business acumen and data driven mindset, with the ability to utilize reporting, dashboard, and automated process development as a catalyst to support the needs of the business. The position is based in our Pennsauken New Jersey office. As a Business Applications Manager you will work closely with business unit leaders, understand the needs of their teams, and develop technology solutions to improve the business using Dynamics 365. You will work closely with various business leaders throughout the organization and use Dynamics 365 to align technology with business goals and processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensures Dynamics 365, VIP and other core business applications are operating according to established protocols. Develop and maintain a 1-3-year strategy regarding our ERP transformation. Adhere to the application & system roadmaps to consolidate systems in a common platform. Serve as Tier 3 support and resolves end user issues regarding responsible ERP Applications Work with appropriate operations, partners, and vendors to identify and solve problems. Document enterprise business applications, processes, and internal infrastructure to quickly access information needed to make purchases and diagnose problems. Ensure that root causes of platform problems are understood, recommend the solutions, and ensure the solutions are applied. Provide direct leadership and coaching to the ERP Team to drive long-term organization capacity, bench strength and growth. Direct and prioritizes the workload of subordinate personnel, responsible for performance reviews and salary administration Participate in strategic leadership discussions and set direction for their team. Work with our ERP partners to find innovative solutions to existing business problems. Lead efforts to ensure company is utilizing functionalities of the enterprise applications and software, ensuring that ROIs are being met. Ensure that company policies, standards, cybersecurity, and procedures are met, followed, and maintained in accordance with established company policy. Conduct Code Reviews with IT leadership. Must have a consultative mindset when explaining to users not familiar with technical jargon
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field and or relative experience
Experience:
3-5 years of previous support of cloud services in a comparable size organization. 3-5 Years working with Microsoft-based ERP Systems and supporting systems. 3-5 years in an IT Management role
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of IT disciplines including but not limited to technical architecture, ERP architecture, Dynamics 365, EDI, Office 365, Azure SQL, Azure Automation, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power BI, and Azure Active Directory.
Other:
Skilled in project management, problem solving, troubleshooting, organizing workflow and processes; internal customer service.
Ability to:
work quickly and efficiently; multi-task; communicate effectively with internal customers and vendors; develop good working relationships. Other functions, skills and abilities may also apply. Candidates with a FinOps, or Manufacturing background strongly considered. Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications strongly considered. We offer a competitive salary of $140k-$165k. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Six (6) days of sick leave; two (2) weeks of vacation accrued throughout the year; nine (9) Company Paid Holidays and a 401K Plan with employer match.
