TRADOC – Assistant Program Manager Technology, Automation, and Management, Inc. Fort Novosel, AL The Assistant Program Manager will support the Program Manager in overseeing IT support services for the Army Aviation Center of Excellence. This role includes assisting with the strategic oversight of IT operations, ensuring service delivery, and aligning with ACOE’s mission, with a focus on Fort Eustis, Virginia. The Assistant Program Manager will manage IT projects, coordinate resources, and maintain standards of service quality.
Position Responsibilities:
Assist the Program Manager in serving as the primary point of contact for contractual matters, facilitating coordination with the Contracting Officer Representative. Support the development and implementation of strategic plans to enhance IT service delivery and support the mission-critical operations of the Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry best practices, including ITIL, to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction. Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams focused on Audio/Visual Support, Systems Administration & Cloud Support, Customer Service Support Center, Cyber Compliance & Support, and Application Development & Maintenance.[RV1] Communicate project needs and progress to government stakeholders, providing updates on project status and performance metrics. Assist in developing and maintaining a Quality Control Plan to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. Provide leadership and guidance to IT personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Manage financial resources effectively, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and optimizing resource allocation across IT projects. Identify and mitigate risks to project timelines and deliverables, implementing proactive measures to ensure successful project outcomes. Implement procedures to identify, prevent, and ensure non-recurrence of defective services, maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and quality assurance. Oversee the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of multifaceted programs and projects. Serve as a principal point of representation and liaison with external constituencies on operational matters. Provide day-to-day technical and professional guidance and leadership. Ensure the effective and efficient methods for the provisioning, delivery, maintenance, and retirement of IT systems and programs. Corporate Responsibilities Support the contractor with any feedback and subject matter expertise in the proposal field to help improve the operations of government agencies within CONUS and OCONUS.
