POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Business Partner (ITBP) acts as the strategic interface between the Information Technology (IT) service line and Health First’s Integrated Delivery Network (IDN). The IT Business Partner’s primary goal is to ensure that IT strategies, services, and solutions are aligned with the Health First’s needs and goals. The IT Business Partner works closely with various clinical and operational leaders to understand care delivery objectives and translate them into actionable IT initiatives across the IDN that drive and enhance patient care, improve clinical and operational workflows, and ultimately support IDN-wide excellence.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITES

Collaborates with business leaders to understand the strategic goals, challenges, and priorities across the IDN. Aligning IT strategies and services with business objectives, ensuring that IT solutions drive business value for Health First. Acts as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing expert guidance on the best use of technology to meet business needs, proactively identifying opportunities to leverage IT to enhance business performance and competitive advantage. Assists in the development of long-term IT roadmaps, ensuring they align with business strategies and goals, while ensuring that technology investments deliver measurable business outcomes. Partners with IT service delivery leads to oversee the execution of technology projects. Making certain that business requirements are met, and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications. Facilitates communication and collaboration between business units and IT teams, promoting effective cooperation, ensuring that the needs of all Health First service lines are understood and addressed. Supports business leaders in managing change when implementing new IT solutions, systems, or processes, working closely with Change Management team and stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption and minimal disruption of the implementation of future state initiatives. Measures and reports on the effectiveness of IT initiatives. Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to ensure IT investments provide the expected business value. Identifies and manages potential risks associated with IT projects, ensuring that any challenges are addressed early, and mitigation strategies are developed and utilizes to mitigate any potential risk by leaning on contingent planning principles. Serves as the first point of contact (POC) for business-related IT escalations. Addresses urgent issues, and works with IT teams to resolve problems promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and patient care. Work Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Informatics, or relevant field.

Work Experience:

Three (3) year(s) experience leading large, complex projects and in business IT consulting or management capacity.

Licensure:
None Certification:

Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP) within twelve (12) months of start date and maintained.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Intermediate skills in leadership and negotiation tactics. In-depth knowledge of the business, business requirements analysis, and IT processes. Ability to work autonomously without continuous supervision. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly, negotiate, listen to mitigate conflict and build partnerships to achieve desired goals using strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Informatics, or relevant field.

Work Experience:

Five (5) years’ internal or external IT experience. Five (5) year(s) experience leading large, complex projects and in business IT consulting or management capacity.

Certification:

PROSCI Change Management Practitioner. Project Management Professional (PMP).

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Majority of time involves sitting or standing; occasional walking, bending, and stooping. Long periods of computer time or at workstation. Light work that may include lifting or moving objects up to 20 pounds with or without assistance. May be exposed to inside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting and/or low to moderate noise. Communicating with others to exchange information. Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. Workspace may vary from open to confined. May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle. Benefits
