IT Project Manager Position Available In Duval, Florida

Description We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams. This role is key to ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead cross-functional teams to deliver IT projects from initiation through closeout + Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders + Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets while managing risks and issues + Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and executive leadership + Facilitate communication between business users, developers, vendors, and other stakeholders + Manage resource allocation, project documentation, and status reporting + Ensure adherence to project management standards, policies, and best practices + Support change management, testing, training, and post-implementation reviews

Requirements Required Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of experience managing IT projects in a professional environment + Proven track record of delivering software, infrastructure, or integration projects on time and within budget + Strong knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies + Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Smartsheet) + Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

+ PMP, CSM, or other relevant project management certification + Experience managing projects in cloud, cybersecurity, ERP, or application development environments + Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management practices + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
