Strategic IT Governance Project Manager
Grow your career as a Strategic IT Governance Project Manager with an innovative global bank in Tampa, FL. Contract role with strong possibility of extension. Will require working a hybrid schedule 2-3 days onsite per week. Will manage Technology Book of Work while adhering to mandated policies and procedures for governing and reporting on status of Tech Initiatives and management of risks and issues including associated mitigation plans. Will liaise with many senior stakeholders and multiple teams to obtain the needed information to drive the Tech BOW Initiative management and/or the Change Management process. You will work alongside some of the smartest minds in the industry who are excited to share their knowledge and to learn from you.

Required Skills & Experience
Demonstrated ability to work on tools and process that help track Technology Book of Work Comfort navigating complex, highly matrixed organizations. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior leaders. Strong leadership skills and influencing capabilities. Ability to work in a fast moving and complex environment with proactive demeanor to pick-up complex and new topics and deliver on them. Ability to understand risk-reward, provide diplomatic challenge to stakeholders, and escalate issues when appropriate. Strong track record of effectively assessing and managing competing priorities to deliver high quality and timely work. Comfortable acting as an agent for positive change with agility and flexibility Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s/University degree Technology/Data Management/Information Systems Certification 10+ years of experience in financial services, consulting, or technology with a focus on governance Strongly prefer experience with regulatory or consent order type of projects, or audit. Financial services and Regulatory reporting experience US Financial Regulatory reporting process understanding Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel Strongly prefer experience with process mapping, consulting, audit skills Demonstrated ability to drive change management processes Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized Excellent written, verbal and analytical skills What You Will Be Doing
Develop a strong understanding of company policy and procedures that guide governance of a Technology Strategic Work Efforts Ensure compliance with Strategic Work Efforts policy and procedures mandated by company’s Program Management Council (CPMC) Drive timely and comprehensive updates for status, Critical Success Criteria (CSC), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), risks, issues and Path to Green for the Technology Data Bow Key Initiative Ensure timely remediation of any findings identified by governing bodies like Organizational Program Management Office (OPMO) and/or the company Program Management Council (CPMC) Develop a strong understanding of the Consent Order plan, milestone linkages and inter dependencies and leverage that knowledge for assigned areas. Communicate effectively with all audiences, including senior management. Partner, collaborate and work with other areas within company, as necessary, to come up with the best solutions/decisions. Influence diverse stakeholders at various levels of seniority without direct reporting relationships to ensure appropriate response and sense of urgency.
