IT Project Manager (Cloud Migration & IT Projects)

Scope of Work:

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong technical and leadership skills to manage the Cloud Migration project and various other IT projects. This role will involve overseeing full project lifecycles, ensuring deliverables are met, and aligning with Florida IT Project Management and Oversight Standards.

Required Qualifications:

PMP Certification (mandatory)
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technology field
Minimum 3+ years of experience managing IT projects

Preferred Experience:

Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget
Strong leadership and adaptability across diverse situations
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Experience managing diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Ability to solve problems creatively with strong analytical skills
Conflict resolution and constructive issue handling

Technical Knowledge:

Project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
Florida IT Project Management and Oversight Standards (Rules 60GG-1.001 through 60GG-1.009, F.A.C.)

ISO/IEC 20000 IT

Service Management standards

Microsoft Office Suite:

Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Visio
Microfocus PPM (Project Portfolio Management)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Cloud Migration project (50%) and other IT initiatives (50%)
Ensure projects meet timelines and deliverables per approved schedules
Develop and maintain all project management artifacts
Evaluate change requests and facilitate sponsor decision-making
Manage communications and status reporting across all project phases
Coordinate with internal and vendor teams for execution with minimal downtime
Oversee project scope, cost, quality, HR, communications, risk, and stakeholder management
Ensure all documentation complies with state IT standards and guidelines
Provide knowledge transfer and documentation for technical/non-technical teams
Perform additional duties as assigned and follow all defined procedures and standards
