POSITION SUMMARY

This Project Manager position at HSA will lead a new corporate ServiceNow installation and related IT Operations activities. This role involves managing the centralization of IT Help Desk, Crisis Management, and Change Control functions. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in managing complex projects within the healthcare industry and will oversee the ServiceNow implementation for a large healthcare organization. You will work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment and integration of the ServiceNow system, enhancing operational efficiency and quality care across IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) modules.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead, coordinate, and manage the full lifecycle of ServiceNow implementation, including ITSM, ITOM, SPM, and HAM modules. Create detailed timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation strategies to ensure the rollout stays on track. Ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while handling complex interdependencies. Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and next steps. Serve as the central communicator to key stakeholders, from project team members to executives. Oversee the ServiceNow platform’s implementation, focusing on the ticketing system for Go LIVE in June. Ensure all aspects of the system, including Incident Management, Change Control, and Service Request Management, are efficiently implemented, configured, and integrated with existing workflows. Manage activities to centralize Help Desk support and Crisis Management from an operational readiness perspective, including establishing new corporate structures and departments to support Day 1 ITSM and ITOM deliverables, with scalability for long-term operational goals. Collaborate with executive leadership, IT teams, clinical teams, and vendors to ensure ServiceNow meets current and future organizational goals and aligns with broader business strategies. Identify opportunities for process improvement in project management methodologies, ServiceNow integrations, and system optimization, focusing on delivering value through operational efficiencies. Lead cross-functional teams, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure successful project execution. Foster a collaborative environment while driving individual team member success. Work with ServiceNow Engagement Manager and other resources to plan, manage and deliver Service Now releases. Develop and maintain ServiceNow implementation and IT Operations materials for handoff to long-term support teams.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

5+ years of experience in project management, with a specific focus on the healthcare industry, including EHR implementations (MEDITECH preferred), system migrations, etc. Proven expertise in leading ServiceNow implementations, specifically in ticketing systems, incident management, and service request management. Strong experience managing complex IT projects involving system integration, data migrations, and interoperability within healthcare environments. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and others relevant to healthcare IT projects.

SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

Expertise in ServiceNow configuration and implementation, particularly for ITSM, ITOM, and HAM modules. Self-starter and independent worker with the proven ability to lead large-scale, complex projects, balancing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels. Solid understanding of and demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, Office Suite, and SharePoint.
