Position Summary:

The Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for fostering a patient-centered culture and ensuring departmental goals align with the organization’s mission and strategic objectives. This leader plays a critical role in providing direction, resources, and accountability for assigned teams, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality, safe care. The position carries 24/7 oversight responsibilities and reports directly to senior leadership within the nursing and technology domain.

Primary Duties:

Community Health & Organizational Growth Develops operational strategies to address current and anticipated healthcare delivery needs within the assigned department. Drives growth initiatives that align with long-term strategic planning, ensuring department objectives support broader organizational performance targets. Tracks departmental performance against industry standards and internal benchmarks in areas such as employee engagement, patient satisfaction, quality, and financial efficiency. Patient Experience & Service Excellence Oversees operational workflows, ensuring services are delivered to meet or exceed national benchmarks for patient experience and customer satisfaction. System Optimization & Quality Assurance Supervises clinical and financial system analysts, ensuring balanced workload distribution, timely project completion, and enhanced system utilization. Leads implementation and upgrades of digital tools, ensuring alignment with clinical and administrative goals. Monitors application system performance and regulatory compliance, tracking adoption rates, data accuracy, and technical stability. Acts as a liaison between clinical users, IT teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure the platform meets end-user needs. 9. Maintains a culture of continuous improvement, holding all team members accountable for performance and compliance with national and state healthcare standards. 10. Oversees certification processes, audits, and compliance reporting in alignment with all applicable regulatory requirements. Workforce Engagement & Leadership Creates a collaborative, inclusive work environment, promoting professional growth and fostering a culture where team members feel empowered to contribute and grow. Provides performance feedback, coaching, and conflict resolution as needed. Remains competent in essential functions to support staff as a backup during staffing shortages or emergencies.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. An associate degree paired with two or more years of leadership experience may be accepted as an alternative.

Experience:

Minimum of three years of relevant experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or management role.

Licensure/Certifications:

Active Florida RN license required. Yellow Belt certification in process improvement (e.g., Six Sigma) required within 12 months of hire.
