Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to lead and oversee technology projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a PMP certification , a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field , and a strong background in managing enterprise IT projects .
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets. Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
Stakeholder Communication & Leadership:
Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors. Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management. Facilitate meetings and provide regular project updates.
Risk & Quality Management:
Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure project compliance with IT governance, security, and regulatory standards. Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess success and identify improvements.
Technology & Process Improvement:
Lead agile/scrum or waterfall project methodologies. Implement best practices for IT infrastructure, software development, or cloud transformation projects. Optimize workflows and improve IT service delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) – required. 5+ years of experience in IT project management. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies . Experience managing IT projects such as cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives, or ERP implementations . Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree (MBA or IT-related field). Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, or other PM tools . Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and cybersecurity best practices .
