Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Leader I to manage cross-functional, medium-to-high complexity IT projects for a major enterprise initiative. This role involves full lifecycle project management including planning, scheduling, tracking milestones, issue resolution, and coordinating across technical and business teams. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in SDLC , infrastructure , and vendor management .
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate IT project efforts to ensure timely, on-budget delivery Implement and enforce project management processes and best practices Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, and budgets Track progress and escalate risks or issues as needed Ensure quality review processes are followed and business expectations are met Act as liaison across technical teams, vendors, and senior business stakeholders Partner with enterprise leadership to prioritize initiatives and align with business goals Manage multiple, concurrent medium-to-large, cross-functional projects
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Equivalent experience may be considered) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required Minimum of 5 years of IT experience , with at least 3 years managing projects Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Experience managing IT infrastructure projects and working with external vendors Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables independently
